About This Series
The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas can feel like a sprint — crowded, expensive, and exhausting. Somewhere under all the noise is a season that was meant to be about waiting, wonder, and hope. This two-part series is an invitation to find it.
Led by Pastor Kathleen Hyde, each 90-minute gathering combines reflection, conversation, and practical tools for reclaiming a quieter, more meaningful Advent. You don’t have to be a churchgoer. You just have to be tired of the rush.

Before Advent arrives, this session helps you look honestly at what’s already filling the calendar — and what you might choose to set down. We’ll explore what it means to make intentional space in a season that tends to fill itself.

As Advent begins in earnest, this session meets you in the middle of it all. For the gifts not yet bought, the cards not yet written, the house not yet ready — and the quiet reminder that you are already enough for the people who love you.
